MY STORY
Hello and welcome to my website.
I am Janine, owner of Protea Beauty.
I immigrated from South Africa in 2018 (with my now husband) to pursue my dream of becoming a beauty therapist and I'm loving every moment of it. I have always wanted to help people and what better way than making people feel good and relaxed ?
From a young age it's been a big dream of mine to open my own business, and here I am, proud owner of Protea Beauty. Protea Beauty is an in home business that I started in May 2022 and I provide a variety of treatments.
Having an in home business has allowed me to have a good work-life balance especially with our daughter who was born in January 2023. Little Desmay will be staying at home with me so you might see her around and she might be in some of my treatments. I know you don't want a little human in certain treatments like massages or facials, so I will be available for late nights and Saturdays as my lovely husband will be looking after her (if he isn't out working, as he is a Faultman).
